Aims & Objectives

This department aims to empower women to be able to articulate the basic tenants of the faith to others and to breakdown commonly held misconceptions.

UKIM Sisters motivate women to play an active role in the betterment of society through engagement with issues affecting their local community resulting in positive social change as per Islamic values.

How do we achieve these aims?

Giving Dawah

Giving dawah and gift packs to the local services, such as ambulance, fire, hospital and police service

Daily Reminders

Daily Reminders from the Quran and Hadeeth throughout Ramadan

Sending Iftar

Sending Iftar to non-Muslims and Muslims​ during the month of Ramadan

Awareness webinars

Awareness webinars on mental, physical & spiritual wellbeing

New Year Distributions

Distribution to Care Homes, non-Muslims and Muslims​

Mosque Open Days

Hold mosque open days for brothers and sisters liaising with main organisation and assist in guided tours of the mosque

Arranging iftar events in Ramadhan to establish unity in community by inviting and hosting Muslim and non-Muslim locals
